In 2012, Wu-Tang Clan and G-SHOCK introduced the DW6900WTC-1GJCU to commemorate the hip hop group’s 20^th anniversary.  10 years later, these two powerhouses join forces again to release the GM6900WTC22-9 to celebrate Wu-Tang Clan’s 30^th anniversary.

The G-SHOCK GM6900WTC22-9 features Wu-Tang Clan’s iconic “Killer Bees” black and yellow color combination along with their unmistakable “W” logo adorned on the band, dial, and ”WU-TANG” in the EL backlight.  While the first model had a resin bezel, this model sports an elevated Stainless Steel Black Ion Plated bezel that represents the evolution of both the hip hop group and the 6900 case design.  In addition to the “W” logo, one of Wu-Tang Clan’s most memorable lyric, “Cash Rules Everything Around Me C.R.E.A.M.” is printed around the boarder of the black mirror finished dial.
